Custom-made wine cellar for Best Western Hotel

Our client approached us asking for a way in which we could incorporate their extensive wine stock within the appearance of the dining room which was under refurbishment, creating a more modern and sleek atmospheric dining setting for their guests.

    The brief

Our client approached us asking for a way in which we could incorporate their extensive wine stock within the appearance of the dining room which was under refurbishment, creating a more modern and sleek atmospheric dining setting for their guests.

It was important to our client to create a visually aesthetic, as well as a practical space for employees of the hotel to use on a regular basis.

As one of our existing customers they had previously spent time working alongside our team on other projects for the Best Western Hotel chain and we were certainly looking forward to bringing our client’s vision to life for this project.

    Our challenge

Our initial challenge was the amount of space we were provided by our client, their vision was to utilise the existing space while under construction, creating an aesthetically pleasing customised solution for their wine storage all while staying within in a precise budget.

The final product needed to be appealing, compatible, and suit the design of the newly refurbished dining room as well as practical enabling them to store the hotel’s wine collection.

    Our solution

Our technical designer visited the site to examine in further detail our customer’s vision and developed an intricate drawing for approval before our manufacturing team could begin their work.

The drawing created by our technical designer was a conventional yet aesthetically pleasing walk-in wine room with stunning wine racks from floor to ceiling.

    The finished product

Our client was utterly thrilled with the final product, calling the walk-in wine room “an asset to the dining room”.

The wine room fits in superbly as it looks luxurious and high-end, fitting perfectly with their new décor. The design of the room itself has also enabled the restaurant to save space and allows the hotel to be more efficient in the serving of its customers in the future.
