Bespoke bar top for London’s Sky Garden

The brief

With a stylish and sleek interior, Sky Garden is situated in London’s highest public garden where visitors can sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular view of the UK’s capital city.

An attraction in itself, the enlarged glass dome of 20 Fenchurch Street is dedicated to three storeys of landscaped garden, a social space, observation deck and an open-air terrace.

Our client approached us with the aim of creating a bespoke bar top for a new restaurant which was to be situated at the very top of Sky Garden which would encapsulate a trendy and contemporary place for visitors to hang out.

With this in mind, we knew we wanted to create somewhere where people were able to go for a social escape, make memories, dine with friends and enjoy one of the most exquisite settings in the city.

Our challenge

Sky Garden is one of the most popular luxurious bars in the city with an air of trendiness. Diners would need to feel comfortable in the surroundings and our bar top design would need to add to the already contemporary atmosphere that visitors experience on their arrival.

Our client requested that we match their current identity and to ensure Sky Garden would become the go to place in the city where visitors would go for a social escape, because of stunning setting – it has quickly become one of the hottest place in the city to go and everyone who visits will certainly be dressed to impress.

Contemporary and exclusive is how our client would describe themselves and is something we would be sure to enhance with the installation of their bespoke bar top. We wanted to ensure we would allow diners to feel like they’ve escaped the business of London.

Our solution

The bar top that we designed and created would appeal to trendy Londoners and visitors and one which would reflect the exclusive and luxurious feel of the restaurant. Creating the bar from pewter metal did exactly that with its luxury and stylish feel.

The finished product

The completed bar top was polished and pristine and finished to the architect’s vision. It’s no easy fest to create a stunning masterpiece – but our team are experts in their field and the final product was positively received and completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
